Hello, my name is Zack. I'm a Philadelphia based photographer + graphic designer. I grew up in Eugene, Oregon where I taught myself photography with the assistance of a few close friends and a strong community on Flickr. In 2015 I moved to New York after accepting a job offer to work for a small business *boutique* school portrait company based in Brooklyn. In addition to my experience gained documenting people, weddings, and other events, I spent my last year in the big apple shooting nightlife in clubs and music festivals. When I moved back to Oregon in 2020 I decided to go back to school and pursue a passion of mine, graphic design, at Lane Community College. Three years of schooling later and I've graduated with my Associates of Applied Science degree. I would consider myself someone who has always had an attention to detail and a strong affinity for typefaces and layouts. My design style and taste veers more towards simplicity, sans serif fonts, and a limited color palette. I am drawn to large text and utilizing negative space for dramatic affect. I love to cook and be outdoors, I draw inspiration in from city streets and finding the beauty in everyday scenes.
